Shanelaris has studied out of body experiences (OBEs) nearly all his life. His curiosity began in his late teens when in his meditations he experienced astral projections or OBEs for the first time. These experiences, where one exists in a state of soul outside the physical body begged many questions as to the nature of reality, heaven, God and where we go when we die.
The Kingsmen's Redeemer is a brief glimpse into the underworld and the alter states of existence that are but a blink of the eye away. While the film is a complete work of fiction, the after-life experiences of the lead character are based on Shanelaris's real out of body journeys to heaven and hell .
This film only begins to scratch the surface of this fascinating subject. Future films such as Shanelaris's THE CHURCH OF DREAMS will immerse the audience in the experience in even greater detail.
